Every year from January to the end of September, we work with factory owners and workers in Cambodia to pay attention to the same number - the voting results of the tripartite meeting of the National Minimum Wage Commission.

The answer for this year has just been released.

Quick Information Overview

According to Cambodian media reports, on September 30th, the Cambodian National Minimum Wage Committee held a tripartite meeting, and after a vote by labor, capital, and government, it was determined that the minimum wage for the garment, shoe, and luggage industries in 2027 would be $210 per month; Subsequently, Prime Minister Hongmanei announced an additional $2 on this basis, and the final minimum wage for 2027 was set at $212 per month, while the government continued to retain a monthly transportation subsidy of $2.5.

As soon as the news came out, many labor-intensive factories expressed that they were "a bit urgent": based on a factory with 2000 workers, the monthly additional expenses for salary increases alone were about $4000, totaling nearly $50000 in a year.

When we saw this group of figures, we were very calm - because in Wisdom Power, the minimum wage of our Cambodian employees was also far higher than the new standard of $212 per month.

Borrowing this news, I would like to have a serious chat with everyone today.

First of all, let me introduce myself: we are Wisdom Power Technology (Wuxi) Co., Ltd., a one-stop service provider of power engineering integrating the production, sales, installation, operation and maintenance of power equipment.

In Cambodia, we have been rooted for more than ten years: we have built our own factories and office buildings in the Xigang Special Economic Zone and the Gogong Special Economic Zone, covering power engineering construction, distribution room project delivery and operation and maintenance, serving thousands of local customers, and becoming a trusted power partner for many Chinese enterprises and local factories in Cambodia.

From the manufacturing of a distribution cabinet, to the delivery of a distribution room, to long-term operation and maintenance support - we have put the three words "one-stop" on every project site in Cambodia.

A salary higher than the standard is our simplest form of respect

In the labor market of Cambodia, "paying according to the minimum standard" is a cost strategy for some companies. However, at Wisdom Power, the minimum wage of our Cambodian employees is already far higher than the minimum wage standard just finalized in 2027- not waiting for the policy to force, but from the first day of entering Cambodia, we took the initiative to choose this more "expensive" road.

Because we always believe that employees are not just a number on the cost sheet, but the first guarantee of engineering quality.

We offer salaries higher than the local minimum standard to ensure that employees can work with peace of mind;

We pay the Cambodian National Social Security Fund (NSSF) for our employees in accordance with the law, including work-related injury, medical care, and pension security;

We provide free accommodation for some employees to ensure that our colleagues who come from afar can stay comfortably;

We provide systematic electrical skills training to help Cambodian employees grow from general workers to technical workers;

We maintain a smooth promotion channel, and local employees can also move towards management positions.

From salary to insurance, from accommodation to training, in Wisdom Power, "Be kind to employees" is not a slogan on the wall, but a matter of implementation.

Over the past decade, a group of Cambodian partners have grown, established families, and started businesses on our projects. Enterprise stability, people's stability, and naturally stable engineering quality - this is also one of the reasons why hundreds of customers are willing to choose us.

Our responsibility goes beyond salary

Every increase in the minimum wage measures the bottom line of a country's labor security; The actual salary and care provided by a company measure its overall structure.

We always stand above the bottom line and grow together with Cambodia - behind every smoothly operating power distribution room, there is a group of well treated employees.
